In my house, deep-cleaning doesn’t happen unless I plan for it. (Or unless I drop an important paper behind the oven and have to pull it out – the invisible grime, now made visible, inspires me to an impromptu scrubbing session.)
The best way I have found to keep my home deep-cleaned is to take two days a week and spend 15 minutes each day deep-cleaning one room. This includes decluttering and organizing as I go! When that room is done, it’s time to move on to the next room. Don’t forget drawers, cupboards, closets…those forgotten dark corners that are collecting all the lovely things you have forgotten you owned.
